NEW! Fall Product Magazine Program:

MagazineImage

Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is participating with the QSP Online Program for magazines in Fall 2008.  Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is thrilled to offer this exciting new way to participate in the Fall Product Program.

Click on the link below and go to the on-line ordering site.  You will be asked to register yourself and your Girl Scout.  There is a terrific interactive learning activity for your Girl Scout  to complete.  Once your Girl Scout has completed the activity,  you will be able to enter email addresses for friends and family that you think would like to support your Girl Scout.  Your Girl Scout can personalize emails and earn a very cool Reduce & Reuse patch for entering 12 or more email addresses.  Also, she earns troop proceeds for every magazine subscription sold online and credit towards recognitions.  Simply print out the “Detailed Order Report” at the end of the sale and submit it to your Girl Scouts’ Troop Fall Product Program Manager for troop proceed and recognition credit.

For the first time the Girls Scouts Spirit of Nebraska Fall Product Program is offering magazine sales. There are two ways for friends and family to order/renew magazine subscriptions through Girl Scouts.

Girls can complete an ‘address book’ with the names and mailing addresses of 10 family and friends. These family/friends will receive a packet from QSP/Reader’s Digest in the mail detailing how they can order/renew their favorite magazines. Every girl that submits a complete address book receives the Recycle patch. Troops receive $3.00 for each address book turned in to their Fall Product PSC by October 27, 2008.

Girls can also sell magazines through an online learning activity. Girls register and complete the online activities. Then invite family and friends to shop online by providing e-mail addresses for 12 or more family/friends. The family/friends will receive an e-mail from QSP/Reader’s Digest detailing how they can order/renew their favorite magazines online and support their favorite Girl Scout. Girls earn the Reduce/Reuse patch for completing the online learning activity and submitting 12 valid e-mail addresses by October 27, 2008. For each subscription ordered online from these e-mails before December 1, 2008 troops receive $2.00.

Girls who generate two online subscriptions from family/friends before December 1, 2008 receive the Go Green Polar Bear patch; for four (4) online subscriptions ordered before December 1, 2008 she receives the Observe & Conserve patch. The patches fit together so girls can collect all four (4).

Girls/troops that take advantage of both sales opportunities with the 2008 Fall Product Program receive extra rewards. Girls that sell at least 28 nut and candy items PLUS two (2) online magazine subscriptions before December 1, 2008 will receive an exciting bonus recognition item in addition to all the other items earned.

Troop profit for magazine sales is tracked and calculated by Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska – Great Plains Service Center. Girls/troops are not responsible for collecting any money for magazine subscriptions. Troop profit funds will be ACH transferred directly into troop accounts by mid-December.
