Today’s Girl Scouts.

Imagine a new generation of leaders, who lead out of principle rather than pride, who are willing to step across barriers of class and race, who seek out the work that needs doing in the world, and bring boundless energy to every challenge.

Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is the largest girl-serving organization in the state with more than 22,000 girl and adult members. We have six service centers, six camps and one outdoor education facility in Nebraska.

We span a geography that is more than 77,300 square miles and covers 92 of 93 Nebraska counties. We have 17 membership specialists, who work for the council throughout the state to serve the needs of our girls and volunteers.

The Spirit of Nebraska council offers many Pathways to participation so that girls can choose how they would like to be involved in Girl Scouting.

Our organization is, and has always been, grounded in the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law. With the support of committed adults, all Girl Scout activities are girl led so that each girl’s leadership potential can bloom.

In Girl Scouting, girls discover their values and who they are; connect with and inspire others; and take action on shared ideas to make the world a better place.

One girl makes a difference; girls together can change the world.
