Ways To Be Involved

Choosing the Right Path for You

Girl Scout Pathways are the ways in which girls become involved in Girl Scouting. Because everyone has different and unique interests and availability, Pathways create an entry into Girl Scouts that gives each individual girl and her family options. By choosing their own Pathway, girls are participating in a way that is meaningful and will be most inspiring to them.

Girl Scout Pathways

Series Pathway – Explore a single topic without making a long-term commitment. For a program Series, girls meet two or three times to explore one theme or area of interest. View Series opportunities.

Troop Pathway When you choose the Troop Pathway, you will meet on a regular basis with a particular group of girls your age to share common interests, earn recognitions, participate in the Cookie Program and do Girl Scout Journeys together. Join Girl Scouts today.

Travel Pathway – Journey to destinations near and far and discover, connect and take action all along the way. Choose a Travel opportunity here.

Camp Pathway – This is for girls who want to explore the great outdoors with like-minded friends. This Pathway takes you to camp and other settings in nature. Find a camp opportunity.

Events Pathway – For those with high energy and limited time. These one- or two-time opportunities focus on a specific theme or area of interest. Attend a program event today!

Virtual Pathway – This Pathway will open up a world of Girl Scouting through opportunities on the world wide web. Start today by visiting Girl Scouts of the USA’s website.

Pathways are also a great way to volunteer. You can choose the Pathway that best utilizes your experience, expertise, skills, interests and time. It will allow you to work with girls directly and volunteer in a way that inspires you. Begin your Girl Scout journey by filling out our volunteer interest form.
