Why should I renew my membership during Early Bird?

Incentives! Girls will receive a FREE Early Bird patch and co-leaders will receive a FREE volunteer T-shirt.

Access to the Volunteer Toolkit. The Volunteer Toolkit is a new online resource that makes it super easy to plan meetings, track badge requirements and organize your troop year. Get access to this awesome tool by clicking on "MY GS" and start planning now!

Re-register using recently acquired Girl Scout Cookie proceeds. Reward your girls with the gift of membership for all their hard work during the year.

How do I qualify for Early Bird incentives?

Girls who are registered or who have their membership renewed through our online registration system before 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on July 31, 2017, will receive the free Early Bird fun patch.

Co-leaders who register or renew their membership through our online registration system before 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on July 31, 2017, will receive the free T-shirt. At least two co-leaders must renew their membership or register as a member in your troop to qualify. PLEASE NOTE: All leaders and co-leaders will be listed as “co-leaders” in our new registration system.

If applying for financial aid, do I qualify for incentives?

Yes! To qualify for incentives, you must register or renew your membership through our online registration system by 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2017, and your financial aid application must be received by the Omaha office on or before August 7 2017.

I have questions about the First Day incentive.

Each girl who registered or had her membership renewed before 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Time) on May 22, 2017, will receive a $15 Program Credit along with the Early Bird patch.

How can I use the Program Credit? The credit can be used on any council-sponsored program, camp or travel opportunity (excluding any cash required deposits).

When does the Program Credit expire? You must register for a program, camp or trip using your Program Credit before September 30, 2017. The program, camp or trip may take place after September 30, 2017, but you must register before September 30, 2017.

How will I get my incentive(s)?

Incentives will be given to a troop co-leader for distribution. PLEASE NOTE: All leaders and co-leaders will be listed as “co-leaders” in our new registration system. Girls who register as individuals (not with a troop), will receive their incentives in the mail.

Co-leaders will receive an email survey requesting their T-shirt sizes.

T-shirts and patches will be distributed in August. First Day Incentive program credits will be distributed the week of May 29.

Must I be current member to Early Bird register?

No. Anyone can register for the 2017-18 Girl Scout year beginning May 22, 2017.

Who can renew a girl’s membership?

Parents/guardians will have access to register and/or renew their family members. Co-leaders will have access to renew current troop members.

How much are membership fees for 2017-18?

Membership fees for the 2017-18 year are $25 per person/girl.

Who pays for a girl’s membership?

Many troops use proceeds from the Cookie Program or Fall Product Program for membership renewals for their members. Check with your troop leader! Financial aid is available for those who qualify.
