Girl Scouts love to travel—from the field trips they take as Brownies to the global adventures they go on as teens. If you love exploring different places and cultures, then Girl Scouts is the place for you.

How far will your Girl Scout experience take you? That’s up to you!

As girls grow older, their independence also grows. We've outlined the progression of travel experiences to give you a little guidance when making plans for that next big trip. For current travel opportunities, view our program listings!

Troop Travel

Planning and going on a troop trip is an important part of the Girl Scout travel experience. Your leader or a parent will plan and organize troop trips, and it is a great foundation for future Girl Scout travel opportunities!

Leaders, use this form when planning Troop Travel.

Council-Sponsored Trips

With Council-Sponsored trips, you can explore the U.S.A. or travel abroad! These Spirit of Nebraska staff-led trips are perfect for troops or mother-daughter pairs. We do all the planning, you sign up and have fun! We offer many different experiences, so you're sure to find a trip that is just right.

Independent Level Council-Sponsored Trips

If you have some travel experience and are comfortable exploring new places, you may be ready for an Independent Level trip. To build confidence, these trips are only open to girls, under the careful guidance of our Trip Advisors. Adults interested in serving as chaperones are encouraged to apply as Trip Advisors.

Continuing with the progression of travel experiences, check out Girl Scout Destinations, the ultimate adventure program for girls ages 11 and older. Girl Scouts of the USA offers dozens of national and international Destinations trips each year.

Make friends from all over the country as you travel with Girl Scouts from different states, see and learn new things, and pack your bags full of inspiring, life-changing experiences and memories. You must apply and be selected. Find your trip today!
