Approximately 35 acres of orchards produce a variety of apples, peaches, blackberries, cherries and Asian pears at Arbor Day Farm. Each fall season, more than 5,000 bushels of apples are harvested by visitors and workers – for cider production, pies, fresh eating and caramel dipping. For a unique retrospective, tour the Preservation Orchard: a collection of rare, heirloom apple varieties that are no longer commercially grown.
