Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is ranked the No. 1 Zoo in the United States by TripAdvisor. With thousands of animals from around the globe, 130 acres including 7 acres of world-class indoor exhibits, the Zoo is a perfect place for Girl Scouts to explore.

L.G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari is a four mile, drive-through North American wildlife adventure. You will feel like you are on an actual safari, coming face-to-face with North American plants and animals such as elk, white-tailed deer, bison and waterfowl.

Scout Classes
Bring your troop for a class of hands-on learning fun at the Zoo or Wildlife Safari Park.

Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes,
Seniors

When: Saturday or Sunday, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Cost: $12 per person, or $10 if booked with a campout. Includes admission to the Zoo or Wildlife Safari Park.

Recognitions: Complete all or most requirements for petals and badges such as Rosie, Bugs, Animal Habitats, Hiker, Trees and more! Or come just for a fun patch!

Capacity: Minimum 5. Reservations required.


Campouts
Plan an unforgettable night at the Zoo, sleeping in one of our many locations, including the aquarium, jungle or desert!

Who: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes,
Seniors, Ambassadors, Families, Adults

When: Any available night for large groups. Set dates and locations available for small groups.

Cost: $30 - $40 per person

Capacity: Minimum 25 for large group campouts. Reservations required.

Outreach Programs
Can't come to the Zoo? Let us come to you! Hire a zoo educator to come out to your meeting with some cool animal artifacts or even a live animal!
