We are proud to present Girl Scout Day with the Omaha Symphony! With Maestro Ernest Richardson and Nebraska Astronaut Clayton Anderson at the controls, set-off with the Omaha Symphony on a visual and musical journey through the wonders of space in Symphonic Space Odyssey! The concert will also feature larger-than-life visuals from space projected above the orchestra.

Girl Scout Day!
Scouts attend the Omaha Symphony Family Concert, Symphonic Space Odyssey, followed by a musician-led workshop and pizza dinner.

Who: Brownies, Juniors

When: Sunday, January 18, 2015
Concert: 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Workshop: 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Where: Holland Performing Arts Center
1200 Douglas St., Omaha, NE 68102

Cost: Workshop is presented free of charge but Scouts must purchase tickets to the Omaha Symphony Family Concert, Symphonic Space Odyssey. Tickets for general admission are $10.00 each. (Pizza is included.)

Recognition: Through the concert experience and workshop, juniors will meet the requirements for the Musician Badge. (Musician Badge activities derived from “Agent of Change” Skill – Building Activity Set – Part of the Junior Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting.)

Brownies can use this concert experience and workshop to “Make Their Own Badge” and create a custom music badge.

Registration will begin October 1, 2014, and is subject to availability. The registration deadline is January 12, 2015. To purchase tickets and register for this event, please complete and email or mail the form available on the “Education & Community” page of our website.
