Setting the Foundation

Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska has a strong commitment to providing you – the adult volunteer – with essential tools for leadership success. Our learning opportunities encourage volunteers to discover, connect and take action – the three keys to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. With these essential tools, you and the girls will have an enriching experience!

We currently offer the following Volunteer Learning Opportunities:
Day of Learning – This format provides volunteers with the chance to complete up to two learning opportunities in one day, at no cost: 1. Discovering Girl Scouts and 2. Connecting to Your Grade Level DBJ (Daisy/Brownie/Junior) or CSA (Cadette/Senior/Ambassador).

Discovering Girl Scouts (Required for Leaders and Recommended for all Volunteers)

Explore Out (Required for Leaders/Co-Leaders/Helpful Parents and Recommended for all Volunteers)

Pathways Orientation
The goal of this orientation is to be welcomed to Spirit of Nebraska, to gain an appreciation for the history and mission of Girl Scouting, and to be introduced to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and the National Girl Scout Program Portfolio.
