It’s a big world. But with advances in technology, our world is getting smaller, and more immediate, making global awareness more important than ever. Whether you travel the globe or stay close to home, you are a citizen of the world and are impacted by global issues every day.
Every Girl Scout is a part of a special group of girls that stretches not just across the United States, but around the world. This year, Nebraska Girl Scouts are celebrating that sisterhood of Girl Scouting and participating in programs that relate to global issues affecting women and girls.
If you are enjoying this year’s Local to Global program theme, here are more resources to explore:
Join us for our Global Webinar at 7 p.m. on March 24 to discover more about Girl Scouts’ global sisterhood, explore international issues, and be inspired to take action locally and globally. Participate at home or watch with your troop or service unit! This webinar is ideal for co-leaders of all age levels, and girls who are Juniors and up.
