Did you and your troop pick up litter on World Cleanup Day? If so, thank you for participating and making a lasting difference in your community and the world!
Be sure to submit your Impact Report and Patch Request. Free patches will be mailed to the first 2000 participating Girl Scouts who submit the impact report. Please allow up to eight weeks for delivery.
What if every person picked up at least one piece of litter on the same day? Around the globe, organizations and individuals will join forces for World Cleanup Day (and National Cleanup Day) on Saturday, September 18, to beautify our outdoor spaces by picking up trash.
Now, imagine if EVERY Girl Scout across Nebraska (and beyond) participated in World Cleanup Day. What an incredible impact we would make!
Be part of something BIG as you gather your family, friends, and Girl Scout sisters to clean up litter and make the world a better place. It’s so easy, yet so important. And, you can earn a patch! Free to the first 2,000 girls who submit an impact report after they complete their cleanup.
Just visit a local park, a state park, a lake, or any public area in your community and collect trash on September 18. If you can’t get out on that exact day, that’s okay, just complete your collection before September 30.
Wondering if you can really make a difference? Yes, you can! Last year, millions of people from over 180 countries took part in World Cleanup Day. The future of our planet is in our hands. Together, our strength, determination, and commitment will take us one step closer to a cleaner planet.
