We interrupt this season to share important summer news! The 2022 Girl's Guide to Summer Fun is coming to your mailbox soon!
The guide that brings summer to your fingertips is back in print this year. That means it’s time to rediscover Girl Scout camp and travel experiences, and to start dreaming about your warm-weather adventures.
Online registration for all summer camps, new trips, and other fabulous programs will open on Friday, December 17 (at 12:01 a.m. CT).
What does your Girl Scout live for? Camping? Horseback riding? Ziplining? Crafts, athletics, nature, hiking, STEM, space, outdoor cooking, animals, or art? Does she long to travel the world? Or is she all about making new friends? Whatever she loves, Girl Scouts has something just for her.
The Girl’s Guide to Summer Fun features all our 2022 summer camp programs. This year’s camp programs feature tried-and-true traditions and introduce technology to her outdoor experiences—all as part of our Rediscover Girl Scouts theme that is bridging the past with the future.
The guide also includes travel programs, including high adventure
excursions to Colorado and Ozark caves, and once-in-a-lifetime trips
to Yellowstone, San Francisco, Seattle, South Korea, Switzerland, and
Now that you can nearly smell the sunscreen, it’s time to get ready to register for a summer full of Girl Scout fun.
Your Girl Scout doesn’t have to attend camps or programs with her troop. Attending a council-sponsored program on her own is a great way to pursue her interests, take on a new challenge, and make new Girl Scout friends.
Registering for Summer Programs
In past years, you could sign up for programs as soon as your summer guide arrived. But not all members receive the guide in their mailbox at the same time.
Opening online registration December 17 allows you to receive your Girl’s Guide to Summer Fun, review the programs, and plan an exciting summer of Girl Scouting. You don’t have to worry that a program will be full before you even know about it!
So, how do you get ready for December 17?
First and foremost, be prepared to register online. Online registration is easy and instantly secures a program spot.
Check your MY GS account and make sure you can log in.
If you need help accessing your account, contact Member Support for help now. Don’t wait until December 17 – the team will be very busy that day! You can reach Member Support by email or at 800.695.6690.
Next, check your troop roster in your account to ensure all your members are listed. If a girl is missing, contact Member Support by email or at 800.695.6690 to get her added.
Then, beginning December 17, hop online and register. Member Support will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CT) to help you register. If you need assistance, you only need to contact Member Support once to get into their queue. There is no need to call and email your inquiry; nor do you need to call multiple times.
