Join Us for Girl Scout Week 2023!

Blog_2020_Girl-Scout-Week

Get ready to celebrate 111 years of Girl Scouts! The first Girl Scout troop started on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, when founder Juliette Gordon Low registered the first 18 members. We recognize that monumental moment each year during Girl Scout Week beginning on Sunday, March 12.

Girl Scout Week is a time when members in your community, across the country, and even around the world unite to celebrate the sisterhood of Girl Scouting. We invite all Nebraska Girl Scouts to help us celebrate this important week by participating in activities that honor the impact Girl Scouts has made in our lives and our communities, and the legacy that Juliette Gordon Low left for us.

See our full list of activity ideas or plan your own activities to show others what Girl Scouts mean to you.

Through the Girl Scouts Movement, we continue this tradition and take great joy in giving service to others.
