VIP Program-Insects: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Plant some pollinator plants in your yard, decorate and set up your own Bumble Bee house, attach a Macro-Lens camera to a cell phone and take some up-close pictures of your pollinators from a safe distance, and set up your own aquatic environment and explore what lives there. As you progress through the activities keep track of your observations in your own personal journal, complete with journaling pens. All of your supplies are provided thanks to a generous donation to Girl Scouts, making it possible for us to offer this amazing program at only $18 which covers the cost of shipping. Zoom meetings will be led by educators and presenters from UNL's Entomology Department, Nebraska City's Kimmel Orchard, and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Department. A Zoom meeting link will be sent to each participant prior to the program. For program-related questions, email email@example.com. For all other questions, email MemberSupport@girlscoutsnebraska.org.
