Round out your day with a tour of emergency vehicles and a meet and greet with the K9 unit. Brought to you in partnership with the Nebraska Association of Women Police.

Road Trip - Girl Scout Camp Style! 2023

Join us for an adventure-packed tour of the eastern Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska camps!

We will begin our road trip from the Omaha Service Center and from there we’ll experience the best that Camp Crossed Arrows, Camp Maha, and Camp Catron have to offer during a whirlwind weekend campout. Reach new heights with the Eugene's Adventure Course at Camp Catron, take a thrilling ride on the Soaring Hawk Zipline Tour at Camp Crossed Arrows, and explore the high challenge course at Camp Maha. Stay overnight at two different camp properties and enjoy archery, swimming, hiking, cooking outdoors, and making SWAPS, too. You’ll even earn a special patch and bandana to represent each camp location!

The Ultimate Camp Challenge 6-4-23

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

You’ve been challenged! Put your skills to the test, and spend three nights at Camp Cosmo, with at least one in which you can choose to sleep in your own shelter. Face off against your friends in competitions that test your fire starting, knot tying, shelter building, and blade safety skills. Spend some down-time hiking the Cosmo trails or try the ropes course. Make your own lunches from scratch and enjoy home-cooked camping meals for supper. Finish off your days around the campfire, singing off-pitch songs, and exchanging unforgettable stories.

A bioblitz focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area during a short time. Tree Promise Kits 2023

In partnership with the Elliott Wildlife Values Project, American Forests, and Johnson & Johnson Foundation, Girl Scouts are launching a bold tree planting and conservation initiative. Girl Scouts across the country are setting out to plant five million trees in five years, and to protect and honor new and existing trees. Not only is this great for wildlife, it will also help ease the effects of climate change.

Girl Scouts have planted thousands of trees in all 50 states and globally. Let’s keep going! These Tree Promise kits make it easy for troops and invididual Girl Scouts to participate.

Kits include a string bag with a sapling, and information packet including activities, a decal, and the Girl Scout Tree Promise Patch.

Kits will be shipped in late spring and participants will receive an email at the time of shipping. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
