New leaders, start here! Gain an overview of the organization and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE). We require that one core-leadership-trained adult be present at all Girl Scout meetings and outings.
Increase your competence and confidence with our wide variety of courses, designed to equip, empower and enlighten you on your Girl Scout journey.
Training is offered in ways that best meet your unique learning style: written resources, face-to-face learning and interactive online learning.
You are invited to join fellow volunteers, Girl Scout partners, and Spirit of Nebraska staff for a day of learning and coming together for Girl Scouts at our first annual Volunteer Enrichment Conference!
This event is for all Spirit of Nebraska volunteers, new and experienced, to hear the latest news about what's happening in Girl Scouting, build leadership skills, and get important training vital to a successful Girl Scouting experience.
Volunteer Resources Overview
Take girls outside! Progressive classes provide resources and skill-development in cabin and tent camping and outdoor fire-building and cooking.
Volunteer Meetings are designed to help you learn more about council activities and to network with other volunteers. All co-leaders, parents, volunteers and community members are welcome!
Aid and CPR
For the safety and well-being of all, we require troops have a First Aid and CPR-certified adult present for any activity that is beyond a regular meeting site (including overnight trips) and/or physically demanding.
