Volunteer Resources Overview

Outdoor Training
Take girls outside! Progressive classes provide resources and
skill-development in cabin and tent camping and outdoor fire-building
and cooking.

Resources & Bridging
Being attentive to what girls are experiencing as they mature
is a big help to girls. So take some time to understand the likes,
needs, and abilities of girls at different ages. As you listen and
learn along with girls, you may find it useful to review the
highlights of their development. Here you'll find developmental
abilities and needs of girls at various program levels. Of course,
each girl is an individual, so these are only guidelines to help you
get to know the girls. Plus, lots of resources for bridging to the
next program level!

Volunteer Meetings
Volunteer Meetings are designed to help you learn more about
council activities and to network with other volunteers. All
co-leaders, parents, volunteers and community members are welcome!

First
Aid and CPR
For the safety and well-being of all, we require troops have a
First Aid and CPR-certified adult present for any activity that is
beyond a regular meeting site (including overnight trips) and/or
physically demanding.
