Girls Need Girl Scouts now more than ever.

Girls are facing unprecedented challenges. We do not yet know the long-term effects of the pandemic on academic performance. A recent report from the Girl Scout Research Institute shows that teens are experiencing a mental health crisis and are girls at its epicenter.

Girl Scouts offers a safe space that meets their basic needs of belonging and self-worth. Connection and community-building are core principles to Girl Scouting, and we have the resources they need when they feel alone. We are emphasizing three areas that are critical to girls’ success right now: supporting girls’ mental health, mitigating learning loss, and helping girls reflect the values of justice and fairness.

In Girl Scouts, girls grow and share new experiences, learn to relate to others, develop values, and contribute to society. Leadership begins with Girl Scouts, and we need your support to continue empowering girls to become the leaders of tomorrow.

An investment in Girl Scouts is more than a commitment to a “new normal.” It’s the promise of a better future.

We wish you good health and peace of mind.

Thank you.
