What would happen if every person picked up at least one piece of
litter on the same day? Around the globe, organizations and
individuals will join forces for World Cleanup Day (and National
Cleanup Day) on or around Saturday, September 20*, to beautify our
parks, trails, beaches, mountains, and open spaces. Now, imagine if
EVERY Girl Scout across Nebraska and the nation participated in World
Cleanup Day. What an incredible impact we would make!
Beginning August 1, take the pledge to gather family, friends, and
fellow Girl Scouts, and visit a park, lake, or any public area in your
community to clean up litter and make the world a better place. Then
after you're done, submit an Impact Report to let us know what you
accomplished. Pledge Forms and Impact Reports will be available on
our website by August 1.
*Or choose another day in
September, but no later than September 30.
Adult
supervision is required.
