Cancellations

All requests for refunds/cancellations must be emailed to Member Support before the cancellation deadline. Refund requests must include:

The participant’s full name
The participant's address
The program name
The program date
The reason for the refund/cancellation request

Allow up to six weeks for refunds. Refunds will be issued to whom the payment was received.

Refunds

Refunds will be granted under the following conditions:

The refund request is received before the cancellation deadline (found in the event details in your MY GS account).
Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska cancels the program.
The girl or family moves away from the area.
A physician confirms that the registrant is physically unable to participate.

Membership Refunds: Girl Scout Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Travel Refunds: Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is often required to pay non-refundable deposits or even full payments early to reserve flights, buses, lodging, and other expenses for council-sponsored trips. Because of this, partial refunds, minus deposits and any expenses already incurred, are granted only if the cancellation request is received by the deadlines indicated in the table below:

Total Trip Cost (Girl or Adult)	Non-Refundable Deposit*	Payment Due In Full/No Refunds After
$500 (or less)	$50	30 days prior to departure
$501 - $1000	$100	60 days prior to departure
$1001 - $2000	$200	90 days prior to departure
$2000 (or more)	$500	120 days prior to departure

*Program Credits, Cookie Dough, Nut Bucks, and Travel Bucks may not be used for program deposits.
