Become comfortable around horses and feel confident controlling
your horse at a walk and short trot. Learn about tack, horse breeds,
horse colors, and horse terminology. Ride once each day and learn the
basic skills of horsemanship at this relaxed horse camp. When not
riding, swim at our private beach, kayak and paddle board on Lake
Maloney, and make horse crafts.
***Girls must be entering 3rd grade or above.***
Note: All riders must be under 225 pounds for this camp.

Only four adult volunteers are needed. Adult camp volunteers are required to be registered Girl Scout members and successfully complete a background check. All camp volunteers are expected to support camp staff as needed. Adult cost does not include horseback riding.
