Calling all nature enthusiasts! Fontenelle Forest invites Girl Scouts and their families to come celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts in Nebraska with a fun-filled afternoon at the Forest. We will have live animal demonstrations, a guided natural artifact exploration station, scavenger hunts, and information on how to earn badges through outdoor activities at the Forest. In addition, participants are encouraged to explore the trails, Raptor Woodland Refuge, Acorn Acres playscape, and Nature Center. Lemonade and goodie bags will also be provided.
Participants are welcome to stay after the program to enjoy the Forest and all Nature Center amenities at no extra cost until closing time at 5:00 p.m.
Adults must register and attend with girls, using the required volunteer-to-girl ratios.
