Honor Troop

Earning the prestigious title "Honor Troop" or "Honor Girl Scout" is no easy task, but 58 Girl Scout troops and 2 Individual Girl Members (IGMs) in Nebraska worked exceptionally hard during the last membership year to achieve this distinction.

Earning these prestigious titles are a Girl Scout tradition across the country. It’s a special award that ensures troops or IGMs are getting a well-rounded Girl Scout experience.

At the beginning of the Girl Scout year, troops or IGMs should decide  if they want to work toward honor status. In fact, the Honor Troop Requirements are a great place to start when planning your Girl Scout year! All of the requirements must be completed by June 30 each year.
