KassyJo: From Girl Scout to Watching Her Daughter Begin the Journey

Some Girl Scout stories come full circle in the most meaningful ways.
As a Girl Scout, KassyJo found adventure, lifelong friendships, and the confidence to lead. Some of her favorite memories were made at camp, where she discovered independence, embraced new challenges, and experienced the kind of friendships that have stayed with her ever since.
Today, she helps create those same experiences as a member of the Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska staff, working to ensure girls across the state have opportunities to grow, explore, and discover what they're capable of.
Now, her favorite Girl Scout adventure is just beginning.
Watching her daughter start her journey as a Daisy has reminded KassyJo why Girl Scouts has always held such a special place in her heart. As her daughter experiences her first troop meetings, friendships, camp adventures, and accomplishments, KassyJo sees the same confidence beginning to grow in the next generation.
