Paige was a Girl Scout for four years in grade school and middle school. She credits Girl Scouts with giving her the start of her sales career.
For three years in a row, Paige was a top cookie seller, earning trips to Girl Scout camp as a reward. She loved camp, but she also loved the challenge of setting a goal and seeing just how far she could take it.
Growing up in a very small town, Paige quickly learned that reaching her goal meant being determined, putting herself out there, and getting an early start.
“As soon as we got the list, I was out running from door to door so I would capture the sales before the other girls got to the door.”
That early lesson in hustle, determination, and setting ambitious goals stuck with her.
Today, Paige is the President of Strictly Business Magazine, bringing that same drive and entrepreneurial spirit she discovered as a Girl Scout into her career.
From knocking on doors with a box of Girl Scout Cookies to leading a business decades later, Paige’s story is a reminder that the skills we build as Girl Scouts can stay with us for life.
The goals may change. The determination stays.
100 years. Countless stories. One lasting legacy.
