Isabella: Turning Ideas Into Impact

September 20, 2026

For Isabella, Girl Scouts has been a journey of service, leadership, creativity, and community impact—one award at a time.

A recent high school graduate from Hebron, Isabella earned the Girl Scout Trifecta Award by completing her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards.

Bronze Award: Hunger Awareness

Isabella and her troop partnered with Blue Valley Community Action’s food pantry and the 10/11 Can Care-A-Van to raise awareness about hunger. They collected food through a petting zoo and spent time sorting and organizing donations at the pantry.

Silver Award: Recycling

For her Silver Award, Isabella and her troop coordinated Earth Day celebrations for local Girl Scouts, teaching them about recycling. They also raised funds for recycling containers and a recycled tire bench for their community.

Gold Award: Backyard Bricks

For her Gold Award, Isabella partnered with the City of Hebron to transform a dilapidated area into Backyard Bricks, a beautiful community event space.

Her favorite part was working with local muralist Jamie Luttrell to create a mural representing Hebron. She learned new skills, connected with people in her community, and helped create a space for others to enjoy. The project was even featured on Pure Nebraska!

Along the way, Isabella discovered how much she loved hosting events and traveling with her troop—meeting new people and seeing new places.

Now, as she begins her next adventure at college studying sonography, Isabella is carrying those Girl Scout lessons with her.

From a food pantry to an Earth Day celebration to a transformed community space, her journey shows what can happen when a girl sees an opportunity to make a difference and takes action.

Congratulations, Isabella, on your Trifecta and Gold Award achievements! We can't wait to see where your leadership takes you next.

100 years. Countless stories. One lasting legacy.
