There’s something extra special about a Girl Scout overnight. ✨ The giggles that last past bedtime. The friendships that form with girls from other troops and towns. The confidence that grows when girls try something new, together.
This year, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is thrilled to offer a full lineup of overnight programs across the state, giving girls in grades K–12 the chance to explore exciting themes, make new connections, and create memories that last long after the sleeping bags are packed away.
Why Overnight Programs Are a Must-Do
Overnights give Girl Scouts the opportunity to:
- Meet Girl Scouts outside of their troop or community
- Build independence and confidence in a fun, supportive environment
- Try hands-on activities tied to unique themes and real-world experiences
- Strengthen leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Whether it’s a spa night, museum adventure, sports experience, or creative retreat, each overnight is designed to be engaging, inclusive, and memorable.
Pay for Overnights with Cookie Dough and Nut Bucks
Good news for cookie entrepreneurs! 🍪 Girls can set cookie goals and use their Cookie Dough and Nut Bucks to help pay for overnight programs. It’s a great way to turn hard work during the Girl Scout Cookie Program into meaningful experiences.

- Feb. 7–8: Spa Overnight (Grades 2–12) – North Platte
- Feb. 14–15: Galentine’s Overnight (Grades 4–12) – Nebraska City
March
- Mar. 7–8: SAC Aerospace Museum Overnight (Grades K–12) – Ashland
- Mar. 20–21: Memory Makers Scrapbooking Overnight (Grades 6–12) – Fremont
- Mar. 21–22: Night at the Museum (Grades 2–8) – Hastings
- Mar. 27–28: Motion Commotion (Grades K–12) – North Platte
April–May
- Apr. 10–11: Gold Award Jumpstart Overnight (Grades 8–12) – Nickerson
- Apr. 24–25: Pajama Jam Overnight (Grades K–12) – Battle Creek
- May 1–2: Ghost Hunters (Grades 6–12) – North Platte
Summer and Fall
- Jun. 5–7: Spirit of Nebraska Camporee! (Grades K–12) – Marquette
- Aug. 8–9: Girl Scout Night with the Lincoln Saltdogs (Grades K–12) – Lincoln
- Oct. 2–3: Gold Award Jumpstart Overnight (Grades 8–12) – Nickerson
