Welcome to the exciting world of Girl Scouts! As a new Daisy troop co-leader, you're embarking on a journey filled with fun, adventure, and growth for both you and your Girl Scouts. To ensure you have everything you need to kickstart your troop meetings with confidence and ease, we're thrilled to introduce the Daisy Experience Boxes—a monthly supply box filled with essential resources mapping out up to 16 Daisy troop meetings.
What is the Daisy Experience Box?
The Daisy Experience Box is designed to support new Daisy troop co-leaders by providing them with a free monthly supply box filled with step-by-step instructions and ready-to-go supplies. These boxes are carefully curated to make your troop meetings engaging, fun, and memorable for both you and your Daisies.
What's In The Box?
Inside the box, you'll find everything you need to lead your troop meetings:
- Step-by-Step Instructions: No need to stress about planning your up to 16 of your first meetings. We've got you covered with scripted instructions that will guide you through each activity seamlessly.
- Activity Supplies: From craft materials to game props, Daisy Experience Boxes include all the necessary supplies for your Daisies to dive into exciting activities and earn badges.
- Thoughtful Script Suggestions: Engage your Daisies with confidence using our thoughtful script suggestions, designed to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where every Girl Scout feels valued and empowered.
How Does the Daisy Experience Box Work?
All Spirit of Nebraska Girl Scout Daisy troops are eligible to participate in the Daisy Experience Box. Here's how to qualify for the program:
- New Daisy Troops: Register at least four new first-year Daisy girls.
- Existing Daisy or Multi-Level Daisy Troops: Register at least four additional first-year Daisy girls.
- Ensure your troop has two registered troop co-leaders with successful background screens.
- Maintain a minimum of four registered Daisies (grades K-1) to continue participating in the program.
- Finish the required new co-leader training and stay in contact with Spirit of Nebraska staff.
