What if every person picked up at least one piece of litter on the same day? Around the globe, organizations and individuals will join forces for World Cleanup Day (and National Cleanup Day) in September, to beautify our outdoor spaces by picking up trash.
Now, imagine if EVERY Girl Scout across Nebraska (and beyond) participated in World Cleanup Day. What an incredible impact we would make!
Be part of something BIG as you gather your family, friends, and Girl Scout sisters to clean up litter and make the world a better place. It’s so easy yet so important. The first 3,000 Girl Scouts can earn a FREE patch, too!
Just visit a local park, a state park, a lake, or any public area in your community and collect trash on September 21. If you can’t get out on that exact day, that’s okay! Complete your cleanup challenge before September 30 then submit your impact report telling us about your efforts and request your patch.
Wondering if you can really make a difference? Yes, you can! Last year, over 19 million people from over 198 countries took part in World Cleanup Day. The future of our planet is in our hands. Together, our strength, determination, and commitment will take us one step closer to a cleaner planet.
