What if every person picked up at least one piece of litter on the same day? Around the globe, organizations and individuals will join forces for World Cleanup Day (and National Cleanup Day) on Saturday, September 20, to beautify our outdoor spaces by picking up trash.
Now, imagine if EVERY Girl Scout across Nebraska (and beyond) participated in World Cleanup Day. What an incredible impact we would make!
Be part of something BIG as you gather your family, friends, and Girl Scout sisters to clean up litter and make the world a better place. It’s so easy yet so important. Plus, the first 3,000 Girl Scouts who submit an Impact Report after their cleanup efforts will earn a FREE patch!
Visit a local park, state park, lake, or any public area in your community to collect trash on September 20. Can’t make it that day? No problem—you can participate any time through September 30!
If you're wondering if you can really make a difference, you can! So far, over 114 million people from over 211 countries have taken part in World Cleanup Day. The future of our planet is in our hands. Together, our strength, determination, and commitment will take us one step closer to a cleaner planet.
Are you in? It’s time to sign up to clean up!
Take the Spirit of Nebraska pledge and participate in World Cleanup Day on September 20. We'll track your pledges to measure the Girl Scout impact. Let the challenge begin! Make your pledge today.
