Hey cookie fans! It's officially cookie season, and we’re adding some extra fun to the mix with the Thin Mint Twist Dance Challenge! This is your chance to show off your moves and spread the Girl Scout Cookie season spirit!
What’s the Thin Mint Twist Dance Challenge?
Imagine this: your favorite Girl Scout Cookie—the iconic Thin Mint—but make it a dance. That’s the idea behind the Thin Mint Twist! We partnered with Nebraska Dance who created super-fun choreography just for you. Whether you’re a troop of besties or a solo dancing queen, this challenge is your time to shine. Plus, there are some sweet prizes to be won!
How to Join the Fun
- Learn the Dance: Head over to our YouTube channel to check out the Thin Mint Twist choreography tutorial. It’s easy to learn and even more fun to perform!
- Film Your Moves: Grab your friends, family, or troop members, and record your best Thin Mint Twist dance. Don’t forget to wear your Girl Scout uniform or cookie season swag for extra flair.
- Share It: With your parent/caregiver’s permission, post your video on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Be sure to tag Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska and use the hashtag #ThinMintTwistDanceChallenge so we can see your moves! If social media isn’t your thing, you can also email your video to Marketing.
- Get Votes: Rally your family, friends, and community to like and share your video. The more love your post gets, the closer you are to winning the “Fan Favorite” prize!
What You Could Win
- Fan Favorite: The video with the most likes and shares will win a karaoke machine. Imagine all the singalongs you can host!
- Most Entertaining: Bring the laughs, creativity, and unexpected fun to your performance, and you could snag $50 in GSSN Program Credits for you and/or your troop.
- Best Solo Dancer: Shine bright on your own and win a $50 Girl Scout Shop gift certificate to stock up on your favorite Girl Scout gear.

- Saturday, March 15: Final day to submit or post your video
