Wow! What an incredible impact Girl Scouts make when they work together. We asked you to beautify outdoor spaces by picking up trash on World Cleanup Day. You blew us away with your response.
This year, over 2,500 Girl Scouts, friends, staff, and family members from 30 states, Germany, and Taiwan pledged to clean up litter and make the world a better place. Together, we collected 853 bags of trash! We’re so proud of the Girl Scouts who united to clean up parks, schools, neighborhoods, river fronts, beaches, forests, lakes, trails, roads, and ditches!
Those who participated received something in return, as we learned from the impact statements. Check out what a few of our participants shared with us:

“We had the chance to improve our school and playground where our community can have a safe environment to learn and play.” – Abigail

Let’s keep up the impact of Girl Scouts by continuing to pick up litter and inspiring others to do their part not just on World Cleanup Day, but EVERYDAY!
