What if every person picked up at least one piece of litter on the same day? Around the globe, organizations and individuals will join forces for World Cleanup Day (and National Cleanup Day) on Saturday, September 19, to beautify our outdoor spaces by picking up trash.
Now, imagine if EVERY Girl Scout across Nebraska (and beyond) participated in World Cleanup Day. What an incredible impact we would make!
Be part of something BIG as you gather your family, friends, and Girl Scout sisters to clean up litter and make the world a better place. It’s so easy, yet so important.
Just visit a local park, a state park, a lake, or any public area in your community and collect trash on Saturday, September 19. If you can’t get out on that exact day, that’s OK, as long as it is completed by September 30.
Wondering if you can really make a difference? Yes, you can! So far, over 139 million people from over 212 countries have taken part in World Cleanup Day. The future of our planet is in our hands. Together, our strength, determination, and commitment will take us one step closer to a cleaner planet.
Are you in? It’s time to sign up to cleanup!
Take the Spirit of Nebraska pledge to participate in World Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 19.
We’ll track your pledges on our social media channels to measure the Girl Scout impact. Let the challenge begin.
